It’s all change at the top again as comedy Night School enters at number one and in doing so knocks The House with a Clock in its Walls into second place. In total there are two new entries on the film charts this week.

Kevin Hart’s & Universal Pictures comedy Night School managed nearly £1.6m and was shown in 452 cinemas and is pretty good business for a comedy like this one.
That means last week’s top film The House with a Clock in its Walls slips to the number two spot but not by much as it managed box office takings of over £1.5m from 552 locations. A Simple Favour is the only other film to take more than £1 million this week but still drops one place to number three.
So what of the one remaining new entry? The Wife starring Glenn Close and Jonathan Pryce enters the UK film charts at number seven managing takings of over £392k from just 119 cinemas.
The Predator slips one place to eight and has now taken just over £4.5m after three weeks on release.
