The Curse of Frankenstein Limited Collector’s Edition 4K Ultra HD Releases October 2025

Hammer Films has a treat awaiting us all in October 2025 with their UK release of The Curse of Frankenstein Limited Collector’s Edition 4K Ultra HD.

This six disc release comes on two 4K Ultra HD and four Blu-rays. So you can probably deduce that it will be packed full of interesting extras. I’ll put the full list of bonus materials lower down.

There is also the standard 4K version releasing on the same day.

The Curse of Frankenstein (1957) is a horror film by Hammer Films, directed by Terence Fisher. It stars horror icons Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee along with Hazel Court, Robert Urquhart and Melvyn Hayes.

The film is presented in three aspect ratios: widescreen 1.66:1 UK Theatrical, fullscreen 1.37:1 As-Filmed and widescreen 1.85:1 US Theatrical.

Hammer Films say “This release is a UK release only. US and ROW release available from The Warner Archive Collection. UHD discs by default are region free, Blu-ray discs are Region B.”
