88 Films is set to release the classic British drama film, Scum on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD in August 2025 for the UK.
Scum (1979) is a film directed by Alan Clarke and stars Ray Winstone, Mick Ford, Julian Firth, John Blundell, Phil Daniels and Ray Burdis.

Plot
Scum follows a young offender named Carlin as he arrives at borstal (a young offenders institution). His use of violence for self-protection takes him to the top of the inmates’ pecking order.
One of the films most iconic quotes is “I’m the daddy now” which comes from Ray Winstone’s character Carlin.
