Final Thought: Blu-ray Releases 12 August 2024
Another decent week of releases with the horror titles being the ones I’m most interested in picking it. Still I’m sure, Furiosa will shift a fair few units over the next few weeks, with Amazon UK revealing that they have sold over 1000 units on Blu-ray and 800+ on 4K in the past month.
The release of the latest series of Doctor Who has failed to capture the imaginations of many, judging by the sales figures provided be Amazon. Only 200+ Blu-rays and 300+ DVDs has been sold in the past month.
Compare this to the recent classic Doctor Who Blu-rays which often sell out (many selling a few thousand before release) and you can see there is big problem with the sci-fi series in its current state.
