Old Gold Media continue their excellent Sweeney Blu-ray releases with, The Sweeney Series Three Blu-ray which arrives in time for Christmas in the UK.
The Sweeney is a classic hard hitting police television series from Thames Television which ran for four series during the 1970’s.
It starred John Thaw as Detective Inspector Jack Regan and Dennis Waterman as his partner, Detective Sergeant George Carter.

I suspect series four won’t make a 2025 release, as the three is only coming in December, so I’d expect it early in 2026.

The Sweeney really is a great television series and I highly recommend that you pick up these new remastered Blu-ray versions, I know I will!
