Second Sight Films has just announced the UK release date for the cult classic Rutger Hauer thriller, The Hitcher (1986) on 4K UHD & Blu-ray. It’s currently set for a September 2024 release with three versions to choose from including a limited edition.
If like myself you’re a huge fan of this movie then you will know its taken a while for this release to be given a release date.

Plot Summary: The Hitcher (1986)
The Hitcher (1986) is a thriller film directed from Robert Harmon. When a man stops and pick up a hitchhiker named John Ryder (Rutger Hauer), he soon realises that this was the worst possible person to give a lift to. That’s because Ryder is a sadistic and psychopathic killer!
