Quatermass 2 4K UHD Releases July 2025, More Classic Hammer Sci-fi!

Hammer Films is following June’s excellent release of The Quatermass Xperiment (1955) on 4K with another limited collector’s edition. Quatermass 2 4K UHD Collector’s Edition arrives in July for the UK.

Quatermass 2 (1957) is a science fiction horror film based on a story by Nigel Kneale.

It was directed by Val Guest and stars Brian Donlevy, John Longden, Sid James, Bryan Forbes, William Franklyn, Vera Day and Michael Ripper.

Plot

Whilst Professor Quatermass is attempting to gather support for his Lunar colonisation project, he becomes intrigued by reports of hundreds of meteorites landing in an area known as Winnerden Flats.

I’ll detail everything that is included in this upcoming 4K release, but you may wish to pre-order to avoid disappointment as these limited editions tend to sell out.

You can find the film trailer lower down the page.
