The BFI are set to bring the classic ITV science fiction series, Object Z to Blu-ray in September 2025 for the UK.
Unseen since its transmission on ITV in 1965 this release is shaping up to be a real treat for sci-fi fans, myself included!

Plot
A mysterious mass, known only as Object Z, is discovered by Professor Ramsay as it speeds through space, threatening earth with total annihilation.
As society erupts into a riotous state of panic it causes extremist political factions to attempt to take control. Can the world’s nations unite to find a solution?
Object Z ran for six episodes, starting in October 1965. The series starred Margaret Neale, June Challis, Denys Peek, Robert Duncan, Ralph Nossek and Trevor Bannister.
Don’t forget that the Quatermass 2 4K UHD + Blu-ray Collector’s Edition arrives on the 14th July 2025. You can still pre-order but these tend to sell out quickly!
