88 Films is bringing the once banned horror film Night of the Demon (1980) to blu-ray in the UK later this month. At the time of the film’s release the British Board of Film Classification labelled it as a “video nasty” due to its graphic violence.
In any case the film was directed by James C. Wasson and starred Michael Cutt, Joy Allen, Robert Collings, Jodi Lazarus, Richard Fields, Michael Lang, and Melanie Graham.

I must admit I don’t think I’ve seen this one and am a little curious as to how well it holds up today.
The plot is goes something like this. An anthropologist along with his students goes looking for a Bigfoot which they believe is responsible for a recent set of violent murders. However what they discover is something much worse.

88 Films state the film is 4K scan and restoration of the long lost original “Answer Print”. Hopefully this mean the picture quality will be excellent.
