Warner Bros has given a December 2024 release date for the, musical thriller, Joker Folie à Deux (2024) in UK.
Written and directed by Todd Phillips, the films stars Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Zazie Beetz and Steve Coogan.

I think it’s fair to say it would have been smarter never to have made this film. After all Joker (2019) was intended as a stand-alone movie, but following its unexpected success at the box office, the suits simply could not resist the temptation of a sequel.
The film had a budget said to be around $200 million but only took a rather disappointing estimated $264.7 billion at the box office. Compare this to the Joker (2019), which had a budget said to be between $50-70 million, that reportedly took over a billion dollars.
Rotten Tomatoes currently has a rather negative rating for the film with a Tomatometer score of 32% (Critics) Popcornmeter 32% (Audience) as of the time of writing.
