If you have just received your Dirty Harry Collector’s Edition 4K Ultra HD, released by Warner Bros you may have noticed it missing the ‘Scorpio Crime Scene Map‘.
Unfortunately despite it being clearly listed on the back of the box, Warner Bros have decided to withdraw it. That means no one has this map in their collector’s edition.
Warner Bros have put a note on their website explaining this removal.
“Please be aware there is a printing error on the Dirty Harry Collector’s Edition tip-on, showing the inclusion of a Scorpio Crime Scene Map. Due to artwork restrictions this element was removed at official pre-order on 17th Feb and omitted from the updated beautyshot.”
I think this is pretty poor from Warner Bros considering this Collector’s Edition costs £44.99. This reason that we opt for their editions is for all of the physical extras. Also the actual box packing is pretty poorly constructed in my opinion.
Whilst the first image below does state “Art Is Subject To Change” the actual final box art that released still lists the map.

This is the final box art that customers received.

I know this is not the end of the world but it really is disappointing as the Clint Eastwood releases are extremely popular.
Arrow Video has already had two excellent releases from the Dollar Trilogy with, A Fistful Of Dollars and For A Few Dollars More. The Good The Bad And The Ugly is next in June.
