Chinatown (1974) 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition (4K Ultra HD)
Paramount celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic film “Chinatown” with a 4K Ultra HD Collector’s Edition. This edition offers a stunning restoration of Roman Polanski’s neo-noir classic.

The Crow (1994) (4K Ultra HD)
Another Paramount’s new releases is, The Crow (1994) starring Brandon Lee’, on 4K Ultra HD. I’m pretty sure this one will sell extremely well!
Obsession (1949) Limited Edition (Blu-ray)
Powerhouse Films under their Indicator label has just released brings the 1949 British thriller, Obsession to Blu-ray in a limited edition format.

Mothers’ Instinct (2024) (Blu-ray) – Studiocanal
Butcher’s Crossing (2022) (Blu-ray) – Altitude Film
Altitude Film Distribution brings Nicolas Cage’s “Butcher’s Crossing” to Blu-ray. This is the film I’m most interested in watching out of all of the new titles.
Horror Titles 17 June 2024
Immaculate (2024) (Blu-ray)
Black Bear releases “Immaculate” on Blu-ray, a horror film that seems to have been well received. Star Sydney Sweeney.
Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum (2018) Limited Edition (Blu-ray)
Second Sight Films releases a limited edition of “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum” on Blu-ray. South Korean horror film, in the found-footage style.
The Sacrament (2013) Limited Edition (Blu-ray)
Also from Second Sight Films, is The Sacrament from 2013. This limited edition releases on Blu-ray.
The Flesh & Blood Show: The Horror Films Of Pete Walker (Blu-ray)
88 Films brings, The Flesh & Blood Show, to Blu-ray which features the horror films by directorPete Walker. This collection includes titles such as, Die Screaming, Marianne and Frightmare.
Television Series Released 17 June 2024
Doctor Who: The Collection Season 22 (Blu-ray)
The BBC releases the standard edition of “Doctor Who: The Collection Season 22” on Blu-ray, featuring the complete set of episodes from this key season. Stars Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant.
The Famous Five TV Series (Blu-ray)
The BBC also presents “The Famous Five TV Series” on Blu-ray, bringing the beloved children’s adventure series in an updated version for 2024. I’m not sure that actually sounds a good idea, but I have not seen it!

This week’s releases include a good selection of old classic and new titles arriving on physical media for the first time.
Of the newer titles, I’ll probably give the horror film, Immaculate (2024) a look. I never managed to see this one at the cinema!
