If like myself you love a bit of science fiction, then you’re probably going to be interested in the BBC’s November release. Blake’s 7 The Collection Series 1 Blu-ray is scheduled for release in time for Christmas.
Let’s not forget the BBC also has the Doctor Who: The Collection Season 25 Blu-ray arriving at the end of October 2024. So it looks like a great time for all of us sci-fi lovers!
You might not want to wait and consider pre-order both as they are selling fast. Amazon report selling over 3000 copies since it was announced a few days ago that Blake’s 7 series 1 was coming to Blu-ray.
This release comes with updated special effects as you can see in the Blu-ray announcement trailer which I have added lower down.

Blake’s 7 ran for four series between 1978-1981 and was created by the great Terry Nation.
It starred Gareth Thomas as Blake, Paul Darrow as Avon, Sally Knyvette as Jenna Stannis, Michael Keating as Vila Restal, Jan Chappell as Cally, David Jackson as Olag Gan and Jacqueline Pearce as Supreme Commander Servalan.
