Halloween’s been and gone for another year but I still intend to bring a few chilling film reviews and hopefully recommendations to your attention. It’s time for another Peter Cushing sci-fi / horror film to review and maybe it’s one you are not that familiar with. Here is my Island of Terror Blu-ray review. However I am not swayed by awards in fact most of my favourite films and actors have seldom been recognised by the Academy awards. This is one of the rare occasions I believe they got it right.

Halloweens here and what better way to conclude Popcorn Cinema Show’s horror season than with some short horror stories. Here is my Tales of Halloween Blu-ray Review. 10 short Halloween stories by various directors all linked together by narrator / radio host Adrienne Barbeau in a nice nod to her character in John Carpenter’s The Fog.
