Universal Pictures has announced the UK release date for the action comedy movie, The Fall Guy (2024) on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD. Fans of the Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt film can look forward to owning it early in August 2024.
Plot Summary: The Fall Guy (2024)
The Fall Guy (2024) is a high-energy action-comedy film helmed by director David Leitch, who is celebrated for his work on dynamic action films such as “Deadpool 2” and “John Wick.”
The film centres on Colt Seavers, (Ryan Gosling) a veteran stuntman who finds takes on an
investigative role following the disappearance of movie star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), during production of his latest movie.
The film is loosely based on the 1980s television series of the same name which starred Lee Majors.

Critical Reception
“The Fall Guy” despite being well received by both critics and cinema goers performed poorly at the box office, grossing approximately $174.7 million against a production budget of between $125-150 million. The film currently holds a 81% critic score and an 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Fall Guy 4K UHD, Blu-ray & DVD Details
The film is due to release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Steelbook. Only the 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions have both the “Extended Cut” and “Theatrical Versions included.
The DVD only comes with “Theatrical Version” but does have extras such as, “Gag Reel” and “Alternative Takes”. If you want the full package you will need to opt for either the 4K or Blu-ray versions.

I’ll be honest whilst I loved the TV series with Lee Majors this movie version simply felt like all of the Hollywood comedies, stupid rather than funny!
