The Horror Of Frankenstein 4K Ultra HD Releases November 2025

Hammer fans get ready for, The Horror Of Frankenstein 4K Ultra HD which arrives this November for the UK released by Studiocanal.

The Horror Of Frankenstein (1970) is a Hammer horror film, directed by Jimmy Sangster.

The film stars Ralph Bates as Baron Victor Frankenstein, the supporting cast includes Kate O’Mara, Veronica Carlson and Dennis Price.

It released in cinemas in the UK on the 8th November 1970.

I’ll be honest this isn’t a very good film. Director Jimmy Sangster changed the tone and added humour which was not what people expected of Hammer horror film.

The result is a very poor film that saw the return of Peter Cushing as Baron Victor Frankenstein in, Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974).
