Second Sight Films has just released Dead Man’s Shoes on Blu-ray for the UK.
There are two options to choose from, Dead Man’s Shoes Limited Edition Blu-ray and the standard Blu-ray edition.
Dead Man’s Shoes (2004), is a psychological thriller directed by Shane Meadows. The cast includes Paddy Considine, Gary Stretch and Toby Kebbell.

Plot
A soldier returns home to his small town with one goal, exacts revenge on the thugs who tormented his brother, who has a learning disability.
Reception
Often compared to Get Carter (1971) it shares a similar plot of revenge and has gained cult status. That said this is not in the same league as Get Carter. It is however well worth a look, its a very uncomfortable watch.
Sadly I believe Second Sight Films said they couldn’t offer a 4K version due to what version of the original film they had access to.
