The Agatha Christie Collection 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions are coming later this month in the UK released by Studiocanal. This could make someone a fabulous Christmas present, or is it too early?
The collection includes Murder On The Orient Express (1974), Death On The Nile (1978), Evil Under The Sun (1982) and The Mirror Crack’d (1980).

Directed by Sidney Lumet, the film stars Albert Finney as Hercule Poirot. The supporting cast includes Lauren Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Sean Connery, Jacqueline Bisset, John Gielgud, Wendy Hiller, Anthony Perkins and Vanessa Redgrave.
Death On The Nile (1978)
Directed by John Guillermin, the film stars Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot. Other members of the cast include, Jane Birkin, Lois Chiles, Bette Davis, Mia Farrow, George Kennedy, Angela Lansbury, David Niven and Maggie Smith.
Evil Under The Sun (1982)
Directed by Guy Hamilton, the film again stars Peter Ustinov as Hercule Poirot. Supporting are Jane Birkin, Colin Blakely, Nicholas Clay, James Mason, Roddy McDowall, Sylvia Miles, Denis Quilley, Diana Rigg and Maggie Smith.
The Mirror Crack’d (1980)
Directed by Guy Hamilton, the film stars Angela Lansbury as Miss Jane Marple. The supporting cast includes, Elizabeth Taylor, Tony Curtis, Geraldine Chaplin, Edward Fox, Rock Hudson and Kim Novak.

I don’t know how long Amazon will keep the 4K Ultra HD at £49.99 but HMV has it listed at £79.99, so I’d advise pre-ordering as soon as possible in case the price is amended!
