The BBC are set to release a 60th Anniversary Edition of The Likely Lads Complete Collection on DVD this November 2024. It includes all episodes of ‘The Likely Lads’ and ‘Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads’ including audio recordings of 10 lost episodes.
All this comes on seven DVD discs later this month! This is surely going to make someone a great Christmas present, I’ll be sure to pick this DVD up upon release.

The series written by Dick Clement and Ian La Franais, stars James Bolam as Terry Collier and Rodney Bewes as Bob Ferris. Their are supported be the excellent Brigit Forsyth (as Thelma Chambers) and Sheila Fearn (as Audrey Collier, Terry’s older sister).

The BBC say “All 38 surviving episodes of the two series are presented here together on DVD for the first time, alongside audio recordings of 10 ‘lost’ episodes from the 1960s, that were never archived by the BBC. “
