Second Sight Films are bringing a new version of the 90s iconic horror film, The Blair Witch Project out on Blu-ray in the UK, there’s also a limited edition offering too!
The Blair Witch Project (1999), really shook up the horror genre at the time. This low budget horror went on to take around $249 million globally.
The film was written and directed by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez. It starred Heather Donahue, Michael Williams and Joshua Leonard.

Second Sight Films has found an error on their recent Blu-ray release of ‘The Blair Witch Project’ and are preparing a disc replacement.
Unfortunately our release of The Blair Witch Project has been affected by an audio channel mapping error which presents the Theatrical Cut in Dual Mono, rather than the original Stereo. We are very sorry for the and are now in the process of fixing and producing corrected discs and will be making replacements available.
To receive a corrected disc, please email us at blair@secondsightfilms.co.uk (with ‘Blair Witch replacement disc’ as subject) and include your order number (if ordered directly from our store) or proof of purchase – order confirmation (if ordered elsewhere, together with your address.

What Do You Think?
This film made a huge impact on the horror genre upon its release in 1999. A low budget film that went on to take millions at the box office.
That said, whilst I can appreciate the film and the story it tells, I really find it hard to watch due the handheld nature of the filming.
