This is a release I’m looking forward to, A Shock to the System (1990) is set for a Blu-ray release in the UK this May 2024, thanks to 101 Films.
Plot
This dark comedy, directed by Jan Egleson, stars the great Michael Caine. Its the frustrated advertising executive who finds himself overlooked for a promotion. When he accidentally kills a homeless man, he begins to realise him might just of found a route to success.

Critical Reception
Despite being a great film, in my opinion, A Shock to the System failed to make its budget back at the box office, grossing around $3.4 million against its $10 million budget.
However, it has since garnered a cult following. The film now holds a 70% critic score and a 62% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.
