Vertigo Releasing is bringing Children of the Corn (2020) to Blu-ray and DVD on the 15th January 2024 in the UK.
The film is based on the excellent story by Stephen King and is directed by Kurt Wimmer. It stars Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer and Callan Mulvey.

Personally I loved the 1984 version and it seems so do most people if the Rotten Tomatoes scores are anything to go by. The critic’s is at 12% while the audience score is 38%.

Why are modern remakes so bad? Surely the current crop of filmmakers have the benefit of watching all the classic films and taking what makes them great and building on that in their new versions? It’s truly baffling!!!
