The Criterion Collection are set to release the western, Buck and the Preacher on Blu-ray this September in the UK.
For those of wondering Buck and the Preacher (1972) is an American western directed by and starring Sidney Poitier. It also stars Harry Belafonte, Ruby Dee and Cameron Mitchell.

Criterion usually have outstanding releases so I expect this one to be no different. In fact this new release is a “New digital restoration” and has “uncompressed monaural soundtrack”.
It’s great to see classic films like this being restored and released on to Blu-ray.
