40’s Film Noir, Double Indemnity Blu-ray Releases May 2022

The Criterion Collection has a very interesting release this month with the Double Indemnity Blu-ray coming to the UK.

Double Indemnity (1944) is a crime film noir directed by Billy Wilder. Furthermore it stars Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck and Edward G. Robinson.

I love these types of films especially if they star Edward G, so I may well review this Blu-ray release.

I expect the picture quality to be excellent due to the fact the film has undergone a new 4K digital restoration.

There’s also a interesting set of extras that you can see listed below.

Whilst this looks like yet another excellent Criterion release its not exactly cheap.
